Caro Kiste Kontrabass from Kassel have been making German-language songs for the heart, brain and dancing feet since 2009. With clever and intelligent lyrics - sometimes in the form of a gentle chanson, sometimes funky, sometimes packaged as acoustic punk or polka - they explore the genre and make use of instruments from all over the world as the mood takes them.

The two trios got to know each other at the Venner Folkfrühling festival and are now finally sharing the stage at a double concert!
